Target Audience

Well , for my Final Project Media Art 2 , I decided to chose TEENAGERS as my target audience .

The reason i chose teenagers is actually , well on my age and my status as a teenager , i know what's best for me to get my project settle up . Teenagers as my target audience is the best choice for me as i can easily search those targets around me well of course ; and my target is actually have the same interest and same point of view in the sense of if i want to have some facetoface interview or some sort of it . (:

Emotions

The emotions that i have decided to continue on my Final Project Media Art 2 is :

  • Sadness

Sadness is an emotion characterized by feelings of disadvantage, loss, helplessness, sorrow, and rage. When sad, people often become outspoken, less energetic, and emotional.

Sadness can be viewed as a temporary lowering of mood, whereas depression is characterized by a persistent and intense lowered mood, as well as disruption to one's ability to function in day to day matters.

  • Happiness

Happiness is a state of mind or feeling characterized by contentment, love, satisfaction, pleasure, or joy.[1] A variety of biological, psychological, religious, and philosophical approaches have striven to define happiness and identify its sources.

While direct measurement of happiness presents challenges, tools such as The Oxford Happiness Questionnaire have been developed by researchers. Positive psychology researchers use theoretical models that include describing happiness as consisting of positive emotions and positive activities, or that describe three kinds of happiness: pleasure (positive sensory experience), engagement (involvement with one’s family, work, romance and hobbies), and meaning (using personal strengths to serve some larger end)

  • Love

Love is the emotion of strong affection and personal attachment.[1] In philosophical context, love is a virtuerepresenting all of human kindness, compassion, and affection. In religious context, love is not just a virtue, but the basis for all being ("God is love"[2]), and the foundation for all divine law (Golden Rule).

The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure("I loved that meal") to intense interpersonal attraction ("I love my partner"). "Love" can also refer specifically to the passionate desire and intimacy of romantic love, to the sexual love of eros (cf. Greek words for love), to the emotional closeness of familial love, or to the platonic love that defines friendship,[3]to the profound oneness or devotion of religious love. [4] This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states.

Motion graphers

One of the best digital illustrator that i've found in google is David W. Allen .

David Allen (1944 – 1999) was a film and television stop-motion model (puppet) animator.

Considered among the finest stop-motion model animators, Dave Allen has contributed some of the best stop-motion sequences to many feature films, rivaling the work of other premier model animators Ray Harryhausen and Jim Danforth.

Some of Allen's earliest animation work can be seen in the 1971 16mm student film, "Equinox", expanded from a short film to a feature length film by Jack H. Harris, later re-titled "The Beast" for VHS video release in the 80s.

Although he had been working for years in animation, mostly doing commercials like the Pillsbury Doughboy, Allen made a splash on movie viewers when he animated the "Nesuahyrrah" monster who appears at the climax of the semi-porn low-brow parody comedy, Flesh Gordon, produced by Howard Ziehm in 1974. The film also featured an impressive animation sequence from long-time Allen friend Jim Danforth.

Motion Graphics

  • Graphics that use video and/or animation technology to creat the illusion of motion or a transforming appearance .
  • Combined with audio for use in multimedia projects .
  • Displayed via electronic media technology - BUT may displayed via manual powered technology
Example : thaumatrope , phenakistoscope , stroboscope , zoetrope , praxinoscope , flip book
  • Useful for distinguishing still graphics from graphics with a transforming appearance over time without over-specifying the form
